IT Resources - Adobe Creative Cloud - Licenses for Zero-Dollar Appointments
The Division of Extension North and South Zones have a limited number of Adobe Creative Cloud licenses are available to County Support Staff (county employees). They are also potentially available to non-county support staff with zero-dollar appointments with approval from the Institute Director/Associate Dean. This is offered because zero-dollar appointments are not eligible for Adobe Creative Cloud under current UW-Madison licensing.
Background
- North and South Zones are covering the cost to provide county support staff with Zero-Dollar (\$0) Appointments with Adobe Creative Cloud when the counties cannot provide it.
- There are a limited number of licenses available to County Support Staff who need Adobe Creative Cloud to support Extension.
- Zero-dollar appointments non based/serving a county can also request a license, but will have slightly different approvals/process.
Instructions for County Support Staff
- If a County Support Staff Member needs access to Adobe Creative Cloud, they should talk to their Area Extension Director (AED). The AED would then send jennifer.brindley@wisc.edu an email to have a license assigned to the requestor.
- Once the license is assigned, the County Support Staff member will receive an email from Adobe with instructions to set up their account.
- When County Support Staff leave employment with the county or no longer need the Adobe license, the AED will let jennifer.brindley@wisc.edu know to remove their license.
Instructions for Other Zero-Dollar Appointments
- If an individual with an Extension zero-dollar appointment (an no UW-Madison paid appointment) would like to request an Adobe Creative Cloud license, they should talk with their Institute Director/Associate Dean.
- The Institute Director/Associate Dean would then send a request for the license to jennifer.brindley@wisc.edu.
- Once the license is assigned, they will receive an email from Adobe with instructions to set up their account.
