How to update vehicle or license plate information
Use these steps to link your parking permit to a new car or a new license plate.
Step 1: Add the new vehicle information
- Log in. Go to the eBusiness parking portal and log in with NetID or UW Health credentials.
- Go to Vehicles. Select VEHICLES in the top menu.
- Add info. Click Add Vehicle. Enter your new vehicle and plate details (or re-enter your car details with the new plate number). Click Next.
Step 2: Link the new vehicle to your permit
- View permits. Click Permits > View Your Permits in the top menu.
- Select permit. Click on your permit number. It should say ACTIVE.
- Link vehicle. Click Add Vehicles to Permit. Select your new vehicle from the list and click Add the selected vehicle.
Step 3: Remove old information
Delete old plates. If you no longer use your old plate, click on the old license plate number and select Delete.
Special cases
- Transferring an old plate to a new car. If you have a new car but kept a license plate that is already in the system, the portal might not let you update it yourself. Please contact customer service to have them link it for you.
