Graduate Student Assistant Leave

This page explains TA and RA paid leave policies and procedures for tracking leave.

L&S Student Assistant Leave KB

Refer to the KB for information on leave allocations.

Student Leave Tracking in the Department of Chemistry

Refer to your appointment letter for your specific leave allocation(s) each semester/session.

Leave allocations can carry over in the department within the same title, up to the maximum allowed balances.

Leave allocations do not carry over when the appointment type changes (i.e. RA to TA or vice versa).

Graduate students in the department must track their own leave usage to maintain accurate balances. The leave tracking template (attached) can be used.

Research groups can set up their own separate leave tracking process and system instead of using the tracking template.
