Getting Help

Support response times:

For all non-emergency support requests that are received by help@chm.wisc.edu, under normal circumstances a member of the research support core will respond within 24 hours.

As many members work from home, it is not a guarantee that someone from the research support core will be on-site/in-person during standard business hours.

An "IT Emergency" constitutes an outage that is affecting multiple users, critical systems, or poses an immediate security risk to study data. Under normal circumstances, a member will respond within two hours.
(Note: A problem that can be solved by using a different computer (such as a touchdown computer) or a different browser does not constitute an emergency)
