ADRC and WRAP PET Imaging Datasets

Broad Considerations in use of PET data

When merging PET and cognitive visits, it is important to note that these visits are not always aligned on the same schedule. It is best practice to merge these datasets together using the days since baseline variable and match visits based on criteria that fit your analysis (ex: closest PET scan to cognitive visit within 2 years). See also WRAP Data on LONI.

Not all participants will have both PiB SUVR and DVR data. The full 70 minute dynamic acquisition is required to transformed the reconstructed and corrected PET data into voxel-wise DVR maps of [C-11]PiB binding, but a shorter acquisition, 50-70 minute, can still be utilized to obtain SUVR data.

An equation for obtaining equivalent centiloids using PiB DVR has been derived within the WRAP cohort:

  • equivalent centiloids = DVR x 148.33 - 154.96
