Guidelines for 1st time vs. Returning user

First time visitors will require a short orientation training with Josh Franke (jpfranke@wisc.edu). This can be done before the first day of your recording and will take about 30 minutes total. Returning users may access the rooms with or without assistance, depending on your preference. Once you have completed orientation, you will be given the combination to the key lock hanging on the door knob.

In the case Josh Franke is unavailable, Shelly Burns (mlburns2@wisc.edu) is his backup for recording studio assistance.

Self service vs. assisted help

You may ask Josh to meet you in the studio for assisted help no matter what level of experience you have in the room! If available during your reservation time, Josh is happy to help with any and all parts of the recording process! This includes during video production filming, post-production editing, and uploading content to your Canvas course.
