Morgridge Hall is the home of the UW School of Computer, Data & Information Sciences, named after esteemed philanthropists and UW alumni John and Tashia Morgridge.
Morgridge Hall is a hub for collaboration and a space for cross-disciplinary learning and experiences where the departments of Computer Science, Statistics and Data Science, the iSchool, and our resident institutes create a place where high-tech learning and collaboration come together under one roof. Ensuring that students, faculty and industry experts can discover, solve problems, and lead in a world that is moving forward at the speed of innovation.
Morgridge Hall is located at 1205 University Ave, at the corner of University and Orchard Street - directly across from the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery.
It is located on two of the busiest intersections for student traffic and will be a major thoroughfare for students in this neighborhood of campus. Serving students with a variety of resources including our own coffee shop - Ground Truth!
This Lead Platinum Certified building is eight stories tall containing, 13 classroom space, a learning center, student commons & library, and office space for nearly 500 faculty, staff, advisors, and graduate students in the School of Computer, Data, and Information Science.
