Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is CERCLE and when is it launching?
-
CERCLE (CERC Learner Enrollment) is the new Salesforce-based noncredit registration system replacing Momentus, officially launching on July 1, 2025.
When does our Momentus access end?
-
Momentus access and usage ends on 11.30.2025. At this point:
-
All events and courses with open registration will have either been migrated to or built in CERCLE.
-
Upcoming events will be built in CERCLE.
-
Data from past events can be accessed through CERCLE and database server. You can work with the CERC and technical teams to access data that you need.
-
What types of events and courses will be in CERCLE as part of the official launch?
-
July 1 go-live for CERCLE will launch with about 60-70 asynchronous online courses. These courses usually run during the fiscal year. We chose these types of courses intentionally for our first go-live, as the minimum functionality to go live on July 1 meets the requirements for these courses.
When will my department’s courses and events move to CERCLE?
-
Any courses or events that end before or on November 30, 2025 will stay and finish out in Momentus. Post-event reporting, financial reconciliation, and generating any certificates of completion will be facilitated in Momentus, as expected.
-
Courses and events that will end on or after December 1, 2025 and whose registration opens between July and November, will likely be migrated from Momentus to CERCLE. A CERC team member will contact you before any course is built or migrated into CERCLE.
What can I expect for our department’s courses and events that will finish in Momentus?
-
Courses and events with an event end date before or on November 30, 2025 will finish in Momentus and will not migrate to CERCLE. You can expect “business as usual” for any courses and events that finish in Momentus, including registration experience, reporting, certificates of completion, and more.
What is a CERCLE Account?
-
Each CERC client (department, center, or funding source) will have a CERCLE Account that has a direct relationship to their SFS/Workday revenue funding. Clients with multiple funding strings will have multiple CERCLE accounts.
-
Recommendation for clients: Review your current course request forms to ensure they indicate clearly which CERCLE account should receive registration revenue.
How does CERCLE integrate with Workday and funding?
-
Learners can register and pay online throughout the Workday transition. CERCLE accounts are mapped to SFS funding strings and Workday driver worktags. Note that all Momentus accounts were mapped to Workday on June 2, 2025. Following the Workday transition, client revenue will be reconciled on July 7, 2025 (when financial operations plan to resume in Workday).
