The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.
When trying to open an app and get an error like this:

This is an example affecting GlobalProtect but can happen to other apps and the fix is the same. In short, the start menu and/or desktop shortcut(s) are broken. The fix is to navigate to the apps .exe file and create a new shortcut to replace the broken one(s):
- Navigate to the apps .exe file. Usually this is under its relevant folder in:
C:\Program Files
- Right-click the .exe file that opens the app and choose Show more options and then Create shortcut
- Click OK to have the shortcut created on the desktop.
- Replace any broken desktop shortcut with the newly create one and rename it if needed.
- Then copy the new shortcut and and replace any broken shortcuts from the Start Menu. The Start Menu shortcuts are found here:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs
C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs -
Test the shortcuts to make sure everything is opening correctly now.
