UDOIT - Scanning Course Files with UDOIT [UW-Madison]

This document explains how to use UDOIT to scan files in a Canvas course.
  1. Navigate to Canvas and open your course.

  2. Select the UDOIT Accessibility Checker on the left side menu link.

  3. After UDOIT scans your course, you can access the Review Course Files tab at the top of the screen. 
    Select "review course files"

  4. UDOIT will list the issues detected and the files affected. Select the Review button to see options to fix the issue.

  5. Select the Download File button to download the file and make the suggested changes, if necessary. You can also request a different type of file using the Request buttons under Alternate Formats on the right (using another format can help eliminate found issues, or make it easier to remedy them).
