Lockers

Information about lockers for Law students.

Student Bar Association's Role

The Student Bar Association (SBA) oversees the lockers on the 2nd floor of the building, including locker assignment and locker issues.

If you have an issue with your lock or locker, contact the SBA at uwsbamail@gmail.com.

Requesting a Locker

The SBA assigns lockers on a first-come, first-served basis, and a locker is not guaranteed for every student.

Prior to Orientation

Incoming first-year, transfer, and LLM students can request a locker using the Locker Request Form distributed prior to Orientation. Students who sign up for a locker prior to Orientation will receive an email from the Assistant Dean for Students Affairs at the end of August with their locker information.

After Orientation

Each year after Orientation, the Locker Request Form will be turned off, and incoming and current students can request a locker at any time by emailing the SBA at uwsbamail@gmail.com

Locker Policies

Students must use the lock the SBA provides; any unauthorized locks will be cut.

Students may not affix any materials to the exterior of lockers, nor affix anything permanent on the interior of lockers.

The Law School nor the SBA are responsible for items lost or stolen from lockers. Anything you leave in your locker, you leave at your own risk. You are encouraged to keep your valuable items with you. To report a theft, contact UWPD and the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs.

Graduating students must remove all personal items from their lockers by the date specified by the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, or the items will be thrown away or donated. Items will be thrown away or donated after one semester of non-enrollment for students who leave without a degree, unless other arrangements are made with the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs.
