Visiting Another Law School
Students interested in studying law at another ABA-approved U.S. law school (also known as "visiting") must apply to and be admitted as a visiting student at the other law school. The application process and requirements for visiting students varies at each school -- contact the other school's admissions office for more information.
As a part of your visitor application, you may be required to submit a letter of good standing, your class rank/standing, and/or something of the like. Contact the Law School Registrar, who can prepare such documents.
Before committing to visiting away, students should consult with the Law School Registrar.
For more information about visiting away and its impacts on graduation requirements, review the Graduation Requirements for JD Students paying close attention to the "Residency Requirement" and "Semester at Another Law School" sections.
