Setting up Docking Monitors at Home
How to set up Dell Docking Monitors at home
This guide will walk you through setting up your monitors in either a single or dual-monitor configuration.
Inside the monitor's box, you will find a base (1), three cables (2), a stand (3), and the monitor (4). Remove the cables and the base from the top of the box, and remove the cardboard insert to reveal the stand and the monitor.
- Remove and unwrap the stand from the top of the box, and unwrap the flat base from its packaging. Connect the base to the stand, and use the hand screw on the underside of the base to fasten the two pieces together. You should not need a screwdriver to do this, the screw only needs to be tightened by hand using the lever attached to the screw.
- Connect the stand to the monitor by first inserting the two hooks at the top of the stand into the corresponding gaps on the back of the monitor. Once the hooks are inserted, press down on the back of the stand until you hear a click. The click means that the monitor has been securely fastened to the stand.
- If you do this but do not hear a click, press the oval button on the monitor underneath the stand to release the stand from the monitor, remove the stand, and try again.
