Data FAQ:

Q: How do I merge data between tables or Freezes?

A: See WRAP Data Merging

Q: How can I tell what row is the baseline visit?

A: The variable VisNo is the visit number, and VisNo #1 is representative of the baseline/initial WRAP visit. Some tests & questions were not administered at all visits, but will have a coordinating VisNo.

Q: Where can I find the dates of visits?

A: We do not share dates for any visits (neuropsych, biofluids, imaging), but we do have integer age at visit and days_since_baseline in the fqryStatisticalData table to indicate time from initial WRAP neuropsych visit.

Q: Do you have longitudinal questions on women's history?

A: Some questions are asked only at baseline, and others at all subsequent visits.

Q: How are the medical history questions phrased to participants?

A: The current MedHistory table indicates if a participant has ever been diagnosed with a condition. Any new condition can be observed if all previous visits were reported as "No" and a subsequent visit was reported as "Yes."

Q: What types of images and derived variables are shared in the Imaging Freeze?

A: The overall Imaging Freeze is in BIDS format. Each individual image within the Freeze is in NIfTI format, with a descriptive JSON sidecar. We share T1, T2, and FLAIR MRI, PiB, MK6240, and NAV4694 PET imaging, and derived tabular data along with each image. Centiloid values are calculated for PiB only at this time. We do not share DICOM data, Freesurfer output tables, nor derivatives from the diffusion imaging.

    Freeze FAQ:

Q: How can I get access to an updated Freeze? Can I merge data Freezes together if I have an older and updated Freeze?

A: Please email WRAPResources@medicine.wisc.edu to obtain a Freeze refresh. Note, an active DTUA will be needed.

A: It is not recommended to merge Freezes together, as quality control is performed on an ongoing basis and values or fields may have been updated since the last data Freeze. Please us the most recent Freeze available and reference the corresponding data dictionary and change log.

Q: Where do I find information about changes between Freezes?

A: Please view the WRAP Freeze Change file found either within the GLOBUS files or this KB article.

Q: How do I use GLOBUS to access the Freezes?

A: Please check if your university provides documentation on how to utilize GLOBUS. Or find tutorials on docs.globus.org.

Q: In GLOBUS, I can only download one Freeze file at a time. How can I download multiple files at once?

A: There is a “Transfer or Sync to…” button in the command panel on the right side of the page. This video guide (created by the UW Biotechnology Center) explains how to utilize the function.

    Please contact WRAPResources@medicine.wisc.edu for follow-up questions/concerns.
