Cisco Secure Endpoint (AMP)-Updating Connectors

This document provides the various methods of updating Cisco Secure Endpoint connectors on endpoints.

The Office of Cybersecurity recommends updating to the newest versions of the Cisco Secure Endpoint connector version released after testing the new released version on a subset of endpoints for at least one business day.

Via Cisco Secure Endpoint Console

  1. Find the Cisco Secure Endpoint policy for the group of endpoints you would like to update in Management->Policies
    navigate to policy
  2. Open the policy in edit mode
    edit mode
  3. Navigate to Product Updates tab
    product update config
    1. Set Product Version
    2. Set Date Range
    3. Set Reboot drop down to Do not reboot
    4. Click Save
  4. Verify connector update in Management->Computers after the configured date range
