IDL at UW-Madison

Facstaff are eligible for IDL access if they are in a University-paid position

Students are not eligible for IDL access.  If you require access for a class or employment at the university, please contact licensing@doit.wisc.edu

IDL can be accessed directly through the Campus Software Library after a valid NetID login.

IDL licensing includes support from the vendor and software version updates.

IDL is individually licensed; if you are looking for lab-based licenses or concurrent licensing, please contact licensing@doit.wisc.edu

Software questions and information on how to use the software can be found through the vendor, Support for IDL through NV5 Geospatial.  An account is required for support.
