Please see this KB for how to create a folder from within Canvas Files
Setting a Folder to be Ignored
- Within TidyUP, go to the Folders tab.

- Locate the folder from the list that you want to have TidyUP ignore. Then on the right side, under actions, select the Edit Folder icon.

- From the Edit Folder window, check the box for Ignore folder contents in TidyUP scans, then select Save.

Moving Files into an Ignored Folder
- Within TidyUP, go to the Files tab.

- Locate the file you want to move into your Ignored Folder from the list of files.
- Check the box to the left of the file’s name.

- If you need to move multiple files, you can repeat the previous step for all the files on this page.
- At the top select the Move Selected button.

- From the Files to be moved window, use the dropdown to select the folder you want to move the file(s) into. Then select the Move button.

- You should then see a green banner appear saying that you moved the files. However, the files will still be in the list.

- To see if the files were moved, Rescan the course by selecting Rescan in the upper right.

- Once the scan is complete, the file(s) should now say they are being (Ignored) in the Used In area of the list.

- When you use the filter to Show Unused Files, you will not see these files listed.
