Animal Science: How to Use the TV in Room 274

Helps understand how to use the AV setup in room 274 with either the provided computers or your own personal device.

Step 1

Turn on the TV with the Red Power button on the upper left corner of the remote. You will know the TV is on when the white light under the Sharp logo is turned on.

Step 2

Decide how you wish to use the TV.

Your PC/Mac

Plug your PC or Mac into the black cable marked with a tag that says HDMI 1. If you do not have HDMI use either your own or the provided HDMI to USB-C adapter on the window sill.

Provided Desktop for Conferences

(This Desktop has the webcam and wireless conference speaker connected. The wireless conference speaker must be turned on by holding the power button atop it)

Move to the next step.

Provided Laptop for Presentations

(This laptop has the clicker remote connected.)

Ensure that the provided laptop is turned on.

Step 3

Switch the input on the TV to the correct input for the device you are trying to use via the input button on the center right of the remote.

Use the On screen display with the arrows on the remote and the center button in order to select the correct input

  • HDMI 2 - Provided Laptop
  • HDMI 3 - Provided Desktop (for conferences)
