Initial Navigation in CSIS

Find your desired course. You can filter to find your course by Fiscal Year (FY), Developer/Coordinator, Delivery Type, etc. from the drop-down menus.

You can search with a keyword like "Fundamentals," a curriculum number, or an instance number to find a specific course. After the search term is typed in, click Tab.

Choosing Between Curriculum and Instance Records

After finding your course, decide if you want to enter the curriculum or instance of the course:

  • Curriculum: The Curriculum record is the template from which new Program Instances are created. As much information as possible should be added to or updated in the Curriculum record before creating a new program instance.
  • Instance: The program instance contains unique information for a specific course offering of a Curriculum.
