Mac OS X 10.7 - Issues with HP DeskJet 3050 printers in OS X Lion

Owners of the HP DeskJet 3050 all-in-one printer may encounter trouble when attempting to use the printer with Mac OS X Lion. If you are having trouble with this printer in OS X Lion, you should make sure that you try downloading updated drivers from HP. This document explains where to obtain those drivers.
Owners of the HP DeskJet 3050 may encounter a couple of issues when attempting to use their printer in OS X Lion:
- Unable to install HP's software using the CD that came with the printer
- Able to manually install printer but unable to use scanner
HP has provided updated software for the HP DeskJet 3050 which should resolve this problem. Owners of this printer who are experiencing problems in OS X Lion should download the updated software. Once the download is complete, you should install the downloaded software and restart your computer. This has resolved most of the issues seen with the HP DeskJet 3050 on OS X Lion.
