How do I submit an application in ARROW?
When you have completed an application in ARROW, you will click the Ready to Submit button at the end of the application. However, please note that clicking this button does NOT submit the application to the IRB. To submit the application to the IRB, the PI must also click on the Submit activity button located on along the left side of the submission workspace. Only the PI will have the Submit button, thus, if you are not the PI, you will need to let them know when the application is ready to be submitted for review.
How do I know if my application has been successfully submitted to the IRB?
ARROW has several ways for you to check the status of an application. The best way to ensure your application has been submitted is to check the History tab in the submission workspace. The History tab in the submission workspace will update after the PI has clicked the Submit button, and will indicate that the submission has been submitted for review.
How can I check on the status of my application?
The best way to check on the status of your application is to check the submission workspace in ARROW. The status of your application will be displayed in the gold bar in the upper left hand corner under Current State. The state will change as the application moves through the review process. If you have questions about the status of your application, contact the assigned IRB staff reviewer or the IRB office.
