WiscIT - Installing the Desktop Client
Simply select Cherwell Service Management, run the executable, and follow the prompts to install WiscIT.
http://wiscit.wisc.edu/CherwellAutoDeploy/During installation you will be prompted to choose between the regular client and the administrator version. The administrator version includes additional tools like Outlook Add-in Installer, Report Writer, Command Bar Editor, Dashboard Viewer, Definition Editor, System Upgrade/Restore, Test LDAP, and Import Utility. In most cases, you will not need to install the administrator tools. If you are unsure which version to download, contact your Team Lead.

Note: The Cherwell Service Management (CSM) Client is supported on Windows 8 Pro and Windows 8 Enterprise only when the font size is set to normal (that is, 96 DPI). The Client and Server installations are supported for Windows Server 2012, with the exception of the Legacy Browser Applications (these can be configured to run on Windows Server 2012 with some manual configuration of the application pool). The other versions of Windows 8 (Windows 8 Home and Windows RT) are not appropriate for our desktop applications, but will run our Portal and Browser Clients.
