To qualify as "Large Scale", the full 10 liter quantity of the material must be within a single container.
If you are working with ten 1.0 liter cultures, this work does not qualify as "Large Scale".
Additional requirements need to be addressed when working with large scale cultures. See Appendix K of the NIH Guidelines for details (https://osp.od.nih.gov/wp-content/uploads/2019_NIH_Guidelines.htm#_Toc3457194).
