macOS 10.9 and 10.10 - Creating a PDF
This article explains two different ways to create a PDF in almost any macOS application.
Create a PDF in macOS 10.9
- In your Safari browser, click File on the menu bar.
- From that drop-down menu, select Print.
- In the bottom left-hand corner of the pop-up window, press the blue arrow beside PDF to open the drop-down menu, and choose Save as PDF...
- In the Save As field, set your file name.
- From the Where drop-down menu, choose where to save your file before pressing Save at the bottom right corner of the window.
Create a PDF in macOS 10.10
- In your Safari browser, click File on the menu bar.
- From that drop-down menu, select Export as PDF...
- In the Export As field, set your file name.
- From the Where drop-down menu, choose where to save your file before pressing Save at the bottom right corner of the window.
