PI Portal: Where does the info come from?

The PI Portal imports information from many campus systems, saving you from having to go multiple places. The table below lists the information types and their sources.

The Shared Financial System is the UW's financial management system for all spending accounts.
The WISconsin Data Mart, our financial data warehouse, contains a daily snapshot of info from SFS.
Effort Certifications ECRT Effort Certification and Reporting Technology is our system for certifying effort on sponsored projects.
Effort Commitments Grants, via WISDM
Grants is a module of the Shared Financial System, specific to sponsored projects.

Human Subjects Protocols ARROW and WebKit
Application for Research Review and Oversight at Wisconsin is the long name for our current on-line protocol system.
The IRB WebKit has been retired, but some exempt protocols are still stored here because they were not migrated to ARROW.

Animal Protocols ARROW and the RARC Tracking System
