Troubleshooting and Installation Tips

For Windows on PC

If Windows version 10 is already installed on your computer, you can upgrade to Windows 11.

Using Windows on Apple

Windows 10 or 11 can be installed and used in Boot Camp or Parallels (applications that allow Mac computers to run Microsoft software). To do so, you must use one of the following Mac models:

  • MacBook introduced in 2015 or later
  • MacBook Air introduced in 2012 or later
  • MacBook Pro introduced in 2012 or later
  • Mac mini introduced in 2012 or later
  • iMac introduced in 2012 or later
  • iMac Pro (any model)
  • Mac Pro introduced in 2013 or later

Boot Camp has additional requirements to run Windows 10/11:

  • Use Boot Camp version 6 or later
  • Only 64-bit Windows 10 is supported
