Activity: What have we learned from our international guests?

Background: Now that we have reminded ourselves of the main highlights of each international guest's presentation, let's push our thinking one step further.

Please work with your partners to address the following:
  1. Contrast the sustainability concerns as described on the one hand in the French and Canadian talks (exemplifying the situation in “Developed” Countries) and in Mexico and Peru on the other hand (exemplifying the situation in “developing” countries).

  2. If you had a magic wand and had your wish, what would you wish would happen in the developing world to make farming (food and agricultural systems) more sustainable on the one hand in the developed countries and on the other hand in the developing countries?
