- Customers who wish to use campus licenses for Windows Server must first purchase licenses from the DoIT Tech Store with Software Assurance and then provision Windows virtual machines using Microsoft's documentation. Provisioning Windows Server 2022 from the Azure Marketplace will result in a virtual machine that will be billed at retail Windows Server 2022 Datacenter prices.

Campus licensed software
Please contact your local IT and purchasing staff to determine if a specific software license allows you to use that software in Azure. Some vendors do not consider Azure resources University-owned computing resources and do not extend their licenses to anything running in Azure. Licenses can be purchased from DoIT.
