ECMS - Perceptive Experience "Failed to load connection" error

Perceptive Experience is the HTML5 browser client for the Imaging Service that is currently used to view documents in SIS and WISDM.

When attempting to access the Perceptive Experience web client for the Imaging Service via Internet Explorer 11, users may encounter the following error message:

"Failed to load connection information; Your session has expired"

If this error appears, it can be resolved by resetting Internet Explorer. To do so:

  1. Open the tools menu via the gear icon in the upper right corner of the window.

  2. gear_icon.png
  3. Choose internet options.
  4. Under the Advanced tab, click reset.
  5. Confirm the action by clicking reset.

If after resetting Internet Explorer you still encounter the error, please contact the DoIT Help Desk.
