What is advancement?
Advancement is the process of moving forward the mission of UW-Madison through admissions, marketing and communications, and development. The L&S SCA team works closely with our partners at the Wisconsin Foundation & Alumni Association (WFAA) on these efforts.

Activate a free CASE membership
The Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE, is a membership-based organization that provides resources to advancement professionals. All UW-Madison employees have access to membership at no additional cost. To create your account login, visit www.case.org.

Join the L&S Communicators group
If you are involved in communications efforts for your department or program, join the Facebook group to connect with colleagues in similar roles. Login to Facebook and search “L&S Communicators” and request to join the group. This resource is an ongoing conversation for best practices, addressing social media concerns, questions from colleagues, and more.
