Perceptive Experience - Bug - 404 Error in Internet Explorer 11 with compatibility mode

This document details an error that can occur when accessing Perceptive Experience and how to work around it.

Nature of the Issue

When using Internet Explorer 11 and accessing Perceptive Experience, an HTTP Status 404 error will appear if compatibility view is enabled for the domain.



There are several workarounds available for this error:

  • Open Perceptive Experience in a new tab.

    The error only occurs the first time accessing Perceptive Experience in a browser session. Either open a new tab and navigate to Perceptive Experience, or return to whichever link was clicked to initially open Perceptive Experience and click it again.

  • Use a different web browser.

    This bug only affects Internet Explorer 11 with set to open in compatibility view.

  • Disable compatibility view in Internet Explorer 11.

    This workaround is not recommended as other websites may require compatibility view to function.
