Provost Report
The Provost reported that there was not a lot of new news on the state budget.  There have been no discussion about cuts, and the governor’s proposal does include some new funding for UW System. The governor proposed a set of performance metrics that would require UW System schools to be ranked against each other.   There has been a lot of discussion around the performance metrics that would be used to distribute these funds.

In regards to the Title and Total Compensation study, she has met with the consultants hired by UW System.  Mercer has done a lot of higher education work.  The consultants were excited by the information they have received from campus so far.
