Customer Firewall Configuration Changes
Procedures to be followed for Campus Network Services making changes to a customer firewall that are not emergency changes
If Campus Network Services notices a customer firewall context that needs to be modified and is not an emergency change, a notification will be sent to the customer asking them to make the appropriate changes needed. In the notification, it will be stated that the customer has 1 week to implement the changes needed. If the changes have not been completed by the end of the 1 week period, Campus Network Services will implement the changes and notify the customer that the modifications have been completed.
*** PLEASE NOTE***** Prior to any customer firewall configuration changes done by Campus Network Services, the customer must be notified in advance to give them the opportunity to complete the changes themselves.
In the event of any emergency firewall change that needs to be made, Campus Network Services will implement any changes that are needed and a notification will be sent to the customer explaining what changes were necessary to prevent any outages.
