Computer Sciences - Human Resources - Unclassified Leave, Carryover Policy

This document provides information on the Computer Sciences policy on using annual-employee, unclassified vacation leave.

Unclassified vacation is earned within a fiscal year cycle, July to June of each year.

Enclosed is memo related to the CS Department Policy for vacation carryover.

Summary of the policy: maximum of 80 hours of vacation will be permitted to be carried over to the next fiscal year. Any hours over 80 will be forfeited, unless special permission is granted by the Chair. This policy only impacts vacation hours carried over, not the conditions and use of Annual Leave Reserve Accounts(ALRA). (See Chapter 16.02 of Unclassified Policies and Procedures for information on ALRA.)
