Information for students about phone apps for scanning and physical locations of scanners on campus
As a student, you may need to scan and upload your work. Options include using a scanner app from your phone or using a scanner to create your file.
Before scanning, check the assignment description from your instructor for any restrictions on filetype (PDF, JPG, etc.).
This is an incomplete list of possible apps. None of these is supported by UW-Madison. Inclusion in this list does not constitute an endorsement by UW-Madison.
Find a Scanner on Campus:
- This site provides a list of which UW-Madison libraries have scanners and which do not.
- All campus InfoLabs have scanners. Find an InfoLab.
