Shared Governance Committee / ASM

The ASM Shared Governance Committee is the student body charged with appointing students to committees across the UW-Madison campus and the UW System. Anyone can be a member and attend meetings if they are interested in discussing student issues or the operations of the university. The ASM Shared Governance Committee meetings function to offer a space for collaboration across committees, connect appointees with the chair for support, and to get advice or feedback from fellow students.

There are over 70 committees the appointees can serve. They cover a full range of topics and issues. They are constantly changing and each one unique. Click here to see a full detailed committee listing, and to find out how to apply!

All meetings will be on Thursdays at 6:00 PM in the Caucus Room on the fourth floor of the Student Activity Center (with the exception of the two dates noted below). For the Spring 2020 Semester, meetings will begin on Thursday, January 23.
