e-Reimbursement - Issues with popup blockers
Some functions of e-Reimbursement require that pop-ups be enabled. If your web browser is blocking pop-ups, you may run into problems with the e-Reimbursement system.
For example, clicking on User Defaults while on the Expense Report entry page causes your User Defaults to open in a new page. If pop-ups are blocked or disabled, that page will not appear. If you find that a link you are clicking on in e-Reimbursement is not loading, it may be a pop-up that is being blocked by your browser.
Internet Explorer 6 and 7
In Internet Explorer 6 and 7, the information bar appears at the top of the window (as shown below) to warn you that the pop-up has been blocked. You can click on the information bar to bring up a menu to Temporarily Allow Pop-ups or Always Allow Pop-ups from This Site. You can also access additional pop-up blocker settings via this menu.
Firefox 2 and 3
In Firefox 2 and 3, a similar bar again appears at the top of the window (as shown below) to warn you that the pop-up has been blocked. Clicking Options will give you several options, including one to Allow pop-ups for portal.sfs.wisconsin.edu.
Safari
In Safari, blocked pop-ups do not generate any notification. The link simply will not load. If a link isn't loading for you, try disabling the pop-up blocker by clicking on the Safari menu and unchecking the Block Pop-up Windows option.
