Adding a 4-digit project code to Ricoh WCER network printers: Windows

How to add a 4 digit pin code to a WCER based Ricoh Printer. Ricoh printers in WCER will not print without a 4-digit project pin configured.
In this example, the Ricoh Printer's network name is "Florence".  Substitute your Ricoh printer's name wherever you see Florence in the documentation.
 
Select Florence from the Printers & scanners Settings
Select the printer from Printers & scanners Setting
 
 
Click the "Manage" button.

Click the Manage button
 
Select "Printing Preferences"
 
Select Printing Preferences

 
Change Factory Default Settings from “color” to “Black and White”.

NOTE: Failure to change to black and white results in a .40 per page charge fee
, regardless if the document contains color or not.
Chnage color mode to B&W

After selecting “Black and White” the “Register Current Settings...” button will activate.  Please click on "Register Current Settings...".
 
Register Current Settings...

Enter your new settings as “black & white” and press "OK"
Register as black & white
Under the Basic tab
Click the "User Code Setting..." button
Enter your project’s 4-digit pin user code (e.g. 1234)
Press "OK"
 
 Enter 4-digit project print code

On the One Click Presets tab, make sure the “black & white” preset is the current default (indicated by the person icon).
Press “OK” when done. 
Verify that "black & white" is the default setting
 
You should be ready to print in B&W to the Florence printer.
