Webex Meeting: Event Center, Support Center, Training Center

As users around the globe are moving to remote workplaces, local network and telephony infrastructures are seeing increased traffic load. While Webex is continually increasing capacity, they are also working with their telephony vendors to ensure they have adequate capacity to support this increased volume traffic. However, in some situations, local service providers are experiencing issues with the high demand experienced due to increased remote users. Where possible, users may be encouraged to use "Use Computer for Audio" (VoIP) to help alleviate this issue.

The Webex Global Service Status provides updates to service issues. Please note all UW-Madison users must contact the DoIT Help Desk for assistance. Users contacting Cisco directly will be redirected to the DoIT Help Desk.

The Event Center best serves a one to many audience. A presenter, presenting to over 1000's of participants, up to 3000. WebEx Event Center helps you plan the event (including registration), engage the audience, follow up, and measure event success so you can more effectively host institutional events.

The Support Center is a remote support service that enables IT and customer support to reduce costs, increase the productivity of their Technical Support Reps, reduce customer downtime, and increase customer satisfaction.

The Training Center is a hosted online training solution that let's you deliver highly effective, live instruction to any user, anywhere with web access. The sessions create collaborative and individualize learning experiences that improve comprehension. Learn when it's convenient for participants through on demand classes and take advantage of hands on labs for practical application training.
