WiscVPN - Disconnecting and Uninstalling the GlobalProtect Client (Chromebook)
This document explains how to disconnect, sign out, and remove the GlobalProtect app from a Chromebook.
Disconnecting from the GlobalProtect VPN in the Chromebook App
To disconnect from the GlobalProtect VPN, simply open the GlobalProtect app and click on the green shield icon above CONNECTED:
When GlobalProtect is disconnected, the entire app screen with appear gray with the words TAP TO CONNECT in the center of the screen:
Signing Out of the GlobalProtect App on a Chromebook
Because of variations in devices and versions of the Chromebook operating system, it is possible these screenshots will not reflect what you see on your own device. The steps to follow will still be similar.
- Navigate to the GlobalProtect menu from the main screen and select Sign Out:
- On the following screen, click Continue to sign out.
Uninstalling the GlobalProtect App on a Chromebook
- Navigate to the Google Play store, and search for the GlobalProtect app.
