Computer Sciences - Gift Options for Registered Student Organizations
1. Industry issues a check made payable to the RSO’s name on their bank account. RSO deposits monies directly to their bank account.
2. Industry issues a check payable to the University of Wisconsin Foundation or makes an electronic payment to the University of Wisconsin Foundation.
a.) If RSO has a private bank account, Computer Sciences deposits industry monies into UW Foundation to Fostering Computer Sciences Community Fund, Fund Number 112256541. After deposit, Computer Sciences requests a check be issued to the RSO.
b.) If RSO has established a UW gift account. Monies are deposited into the gift account. RSO spends money from account; all spending must follow all UW purchasing policies, including using UW sanctioned travel agents and lodging policies, event planning policies, and purchasing thresholds on items over $5,000.
