Campus Active Directory - Native Microsoft Tools
Owing to high maintenance costs and core usage hovering around 10 users after 5 years of the service being available we are discontinuing the ActiveRoles Server service effective December 23rd, 2019.
This service was used to replicate functionality of Microsoft’s Active Directory Users and Computers as well as enforce campus AD naming conventions.
Once the service is decommissioned Identity and Access Management recommends that you use Microsoft's native tools for the administration of your Organizational Unit (OU).
Requirements:
- Windows PC or VM with Remote Server Administration Tools installed.
- Commands must be run from an Administrator-level command line window.
- You must be able to connect to the campus AD domain controllers.
