Blackboard Ultra integrates with the Canvas Learning Management System. You can create web conferences that are accessible to anyone enrolled in your course using this integration. Any recordings you make using Blackboard Ultra will also be available to those enrolled in the class.
Finally, Ultra integrates with your course roster, so students who join Ultra from your course will be automatically signed in as themselves. (Those who sign in via a guest link instead of through Canvas will be prompted to enter a name.)

Create Breakout Rooms
1. Select the purple icon at the bottom right of the screen.
2. Select "Share Content"
3. Select "Breakout Groups" and delete the extra group (Note: If you have more than one instructor or TA holding office hours at the same time, create a separate group for each one)
4. Select "Start"
5. Select the three little dots to the right of your name in the participants panel, then select "Move to Another Group" (Alternatively, you can just select "join group" in the group you want to move to). Make sure you hit "Update"
6. As students join the session, they will be in the Main Room. You can select and drag one student at a time into the Breakout Group with you thus ensuring student privacy while letting you know if another student(s) is waiting to meet with you in the Main Room. (Note: Do not select "Allow Attendees to Switch Groups" as this will let students move themselves into the Breakout Group.
