This news item describes an issue in the Zoom-Canvas integration, where teachers are unable to restrict students to "only authenticated users"
Learn@UW-Madison technologists learned of an issue in the Zoom-Canvas integration, where the setting to restrict meetings to "only authenticated users" is missing. Zoom is aware of this issue, and is currently working towards a permanent fix.
Affects
This affects anyone who accesses Zoom from the Canvas integration.
Status
This issue is resolved as of on 28 September 2022
Workaround:Enter the Zoom Web portal after the meeting is created from the LMS, and enable the setting manually.
