DoIT's Public Cloud Team is coordinating a 3-day Amazon instructor-led Advanced Architecting on AWS class Tuesday, October 10, 2023 - Thursday, October 12 at a cost of $1,312.50 per student.

DoIT's Public Cloud Team is coordinating a 3-day Amazon instructor-led Advanced Architecting on AWS class.

Per Amazon: "This course focuses on many advanced features on the AWS platform such as container services, automation tools for continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), security and distributed denial of service (DDoS) protection, data lakes and data stores, and managing costs.
It is beneficial for Cloud Architects, but also acts as a great advanced course for other roles such as Cloud Developers, Systems Operations, Security Engineers, etc. Other colleges have had their research and support teams attend this training as well."
Prerequisites
While not a requirement, it is highly recommended that participants complete the Architecting on AWS classroom training course https://aws.amazon.com/training/classroom/architecting-on-aws/ or have at least one-year of experience managing AWS workloads.
Dates
The dates for the class are Tuesday, October 10, 2023 - Thursday, October 12. Each day of the class will start at 9am CDT and end around 5pm CDT.
Cost
The total cost per student is $1312.50/person for the class. This represents a 37.5% discount from Amazon's list price for the class.
