Google Jamboard, a digital whiteboard that allows for real-time collaboration, will no longer be available across Web, iOS, Android, and Google Meet devices. Learn more.
What is changing?
Google is discontinuing the Jamboard application and device on December 31, 2024 . This app is currently in view-only mode and users can no longer create or edit Jams. After December 31, 2024, the app and all Jam files will be inaccessible and deleted.
Next steps:
No action is required if:
- You no longer need access to your Jam files
- You never used the Jamboard app or device
If you'd like to preserve your existing digital whiteboard workflows, please consider the following recommendations:
- Export Jam files by December 31, 2024. Learn more.
- Review alternative digital whiteboard apps such as Zoom Whiteboard, Padlet , FigJam*, Lucidspark*, and Miro*.
