Direct SSH Connections to Linux Instructional Lab Computers

Direct SSH connections from outside the College of Engineering computer networks to a specific linux/tux instructional lab machine will no longer work.

Please use best-tux.cae.wisc.edu or best-linux.cae.wisc.edu for the hostname in your SSH client. This will automatically connect you to the best available lab machine. If you have a need to use to a specific box (e.g. tux-113), connect using the GlobalProtect VPN client to the Engineering VPN first.
