News regarding the QWS3270/TN3270 client software upgrade
3270 Application Upgrade
ACS is in the process of upgrading the client software for our 3270 customers. This is necessary by 10/31/10 so that clients can establish an encrypted/secure 3270 session. See DoIT News Article: http://www.doit.wisc.edu/news/story.asp?filename=1411 for more information.For Windows Users --- QWS3270 will be upgraded to version 4.5
For Mac Users --- TN3270 will be upgraded to version 3.2.4
Dan Oksiuta has been upgrading clients as part of his regular onsite visits. If you are 3270 user and have not yet had your 3270 application upgraded, please contact ACS
