Description of the AAE Community servers

The Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics has several servers for use by faculty and grad students to do remote computing, known as Community Servers.

What are the Community Servers?
There are currently 4 servers that make up the Community Server offering.   LINCOMM1 thru 4.  These servers contain many statistical software programs (R, STATA, MatLab).

Why would I use this?
There are several potential reasons.

  1. Get access to specialty software.
  2. Access your network files from home.
  3. Run an extended job that could take several hours.

Who can use this?
Anyone who is affiliated with the Department of Agricultural & Applied Economics.
