Accessibility & usability barriers

The following information is provided to help people with disabilities know what potential barriers may exist.

Magnification and interface barriers create difficulties perceiving information for some users, such as people with low vision.

As users increase magnification, content moves outside the viewport and becomes inaccessible. Gray text throughout the webpages lacks strong color contrast and is difficult to read.

Significant barriers for individuals using screen readers to enhance accessibility, such as people with low vision and blindness.

Reading order navigation is unable to enter text into text entries. Checkbox labels are not consistently communicated to the user. Summary information during the sign up process is organized into two columns that do not communicate visual information usefully to screen reader users. Phone numbers are listed as plain text and not accessible as links.

Keyboard navigation barriers limit accessibility to all web features for some users, such as people with motor disabilities.

Users cannot access the “leave message” feature via keyboard navigation. Minimize buttons within expanded menus are additionally inaccessible to keyboard navigators.
